Moving through the world and expanding your horizons as an adult can be challenging, and uniquely terrifying sometimes. After all, we are meant to know how to do “adulting” things already, although many of us were never actually taught how. How do you make friends as an adult? How do you find community? How do you explore and learn and grow in a way that doesn’t feel intensely overwhelming?
Welcome to the Patch Project!
The Patch Project is my attempt to create a light-hearted choose your own adventure guide to some of those adulting quandaries. This is an ongoing project, so keep an eye out for more achievement patches to come!
How does it work you may ask?
I’ve been running the project through instagram, but feel free to email with the details of the patch you earned if that is easier. You can choose one of the prompt ideas to follow, or something you believe falls under the premise of the patch.
Without further ado, the patches!
Wouldn’t it be cool to run into someone in your community who also has a patch? Maybe swap stories on what you did to achieve it? Maybe the thought of receiving a free patch in the mail has you a little more excited about getting that library card you’ve been putting off getting? Or taking a look at the bike in the garage you know probably just needs a little air and a little chain lube?
